Dinner white. Nose has granite and gras. Some exotic fruits and so vivid. Hint of reduction. Palate is so engaging. Granitic intensity, so pure and clean and just shimmering. Simple but so well made. Maybe some complexity will develop with air. Solid 9.2 for now. — 2 years ago
1961 vintage. Delicious at 61 years old. This estate remains under the radar of many wine critics, but the wines are extremely reliable and ageworthy and they show an understated class that is totally in line with the personality of owner Xavier Jean. — 3 years ago

Dinner sans Kris as she’s busy chaperoning interns… stopped by Watsons and randomly grabbed this wine before dinner and Blu House as they are still BYOB… turned out to be a great bottle of wine that was light/refreshing/easy to drink….will make sure to leave kris a glass to taste whenever she gets back.. also need to order some more to have at the house! As for dinner, pasta and ossobuco was delicious… will come back.. when it comes to dessert, I wanted to take the gelato in a cone for takeaway and they were adamant that I shouldn’t bc it would melt too quickly…I final won the argument and ended up getting extra gelato! Will save that for Kris as well. — 3 years ago
Searsons, first St Nicolas de B for awhile, cracking cabernet franc, all the usual characters love it. — 4 months ago
Big deep grapey nose. Tons of granite and blackberry but also red berries as well. A very evocative and encompassing nose. Some pepper, spice and herbs as well. Complex and inviting. Palate is soft and structured with an intense pepperiness. Supple and melty with gorgeous red fruits and also blackberry. Very pure and perfectly balanced with really nice tannins. Excellent wine. — 2 years ago
100% Chenin Blanc. Nice clear color with steady streams of tiny/fine bubbles. Aromas of white flowers, apple and freshly washed laundry. Candied lemon, pear and melon on the pallet. Nice touch of saline on the finish. Crisp acidity. Quite good. Excellent QPR. — 3 years ago

Absolutely good with ample richness. Clean. No silly willy stuff with this particular wine and vintage after two days. So good — a month ago
