Very slight bouquet. A whisper of lemongrass and acacia palm.
Chill to the max for me. Love the pandan leaf subtle note with an undercurrent of pineapple. The fruit flavors are muted and work with the acidity, highlighting and letting the minerality shine.

The chocolate yet lean side of Carignan; I'd feared this would be over the hill but it's just fine and barely green if at all. A lovely Carignan. Floral black olive tapenade arises on the accumulative palate. — 9 years ago
Brick in color extending to a watery edge. Olive sweet brine, leather, tobacco and cola on the nose. Medium body, round tannins, well balanced. Light and nice. Serve chilled with funky cheeses, olives, and spiced nuts. Would be a sexy side to a thanksgiving meal. — 5 months ago

Wacky! Extreme red fruit, southwestern flowers, Sour cherry, sour beer, butter, maybe campfire? Very enjoyable and intriguing.
Not sure how well this pairs in general, but might be good with dessert. — 8 years ago
Ughhhhh just so much farm and stink in the nose for a delightful payoff. It’s like drinking the fresh outdoors. Light, silky, acidic, fresh and bright berries off the vine while still shrugging its shoulders and saying, “sometimes you have to enjoy the manure too.” I want more. — 4 years ago
Funky nose. Flavor-packed with pleasant tannin. — 7 years ago
Jean-Marie's pet project--jar-aged Carignan. Really, really good; far more fruity and less reductive funk than I would have imagined. A gift to my friend Zach during our visit. — 9 years ago

Easy-to-drink, getting notes of marijuana lol and some kind of tree maybe pine? — a month ago
