Restaurant Gordon Ramsay GBP 150. Beautiful wine, full body. — 9 years ago
Meant to be Chablis style. Peach on the nose. Some fruit as well. Not much citrus. Flavor is light with some white or gray gravel on the palette. Perhaps some stone fruit as well. Nice finish. Like it. — 9 years ago
Kent makes wonderful wine. That said, this would not have been my first choice to have with the Bolognese. However, it was a perfect pairing. Absolutely delicious. And this is becoming one of our favorite restaurants. — 4 months ago
Let this warm a bit from fridge temp.
Large glass.
Briny, acid packed, ( there’s not a lot of nose…yet) straw/hay, yellow stone fruits. Really nice lingering pricklinesses,
Goes very well with Charred raab & orange shrimp. In my glass, quite orange tinged, in the Mrs. Smaller glass, pale white?

Delicious! Good with fennel sausage and broccoli raab — 8 years ago
Nice blend with 51 Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 18% Councoise, 11 %. Mourvèdre. Depth bolder than Cinsault by itself. Nice lingering taste. — 9 years ago

A relaxed meal before Thanksgiving kicks off in earnest. Marcella hazan’s simple tomato sauce with butter and onions over some good tagliatelle, some broccoli raab, and sausage. Perfect pairing. Gave it a 1.5 hour decant which was the right call. Definitely a bit of “rustic” tannins but the fruit is quite open and giving and the finish is pure with good acid. At $27, quite a good value. — 7 months ago

Soft, lots of cherry/ prune. Little sour too. I’ve had this with tomato based dishes and it’s nice. This time I made orriechieti, raab, and chickpeas. ( and a few cherry tomatoes). Went well with it. Enjoyable — 20 days ago
