High acid. Medium in body. Love #chalone fruit. — 2 years ago
This is a truly impressive cocktail wine. I understand it is Cabernet-dominant, but I believe I can taste a nice amount of Washington Merlot in the mix. It is all the things I love about this region, bursting with dark cherry and currant fruits, but smooth on the mouth with that wonderful earthy tannic structure so peculiar to Washington. I can literally serve this to oenophile friends and they estimate it at $50 to $100 a bottle. This wine is a steal at this price. The wise ones among you shall endeavor to purchase as much as possible! — 5 years ago
Very smooth with black cherry undertone. Zero acidity. Very good. — 4 months ago
Vintage 2009 | a true to type Touraine, certainly not a middle of the road wine. Made from 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Cot. Now eleven years old but still with a certain stubbornness, though one can call this character as well ☺️ I put it a few hours in the decanter and then it went well with a porc cotelet and fresh green beans. A smell with cherries, flint, vanilla, a robust taste with only a slight velvet impression. I like these ‘difficult’ wines that play hard to get. — 4 years ago
@Anaïs Michaud 🙌🏾 — 2 years ago
This Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet is vinted in a different style from the Michauds’ other offerings. It has medium tannins, just enough to give it a slightly chewy structure. Pepper spices greet the palate up front, followed by bright blueberry fruits. The finish has a touch of creaminess to it. — 4 years ago

Really citrus-y, but soft and without any tartness. — 4 months ago
