Mid lemon yellow in colour. A caramel top note initially, from the oak. A little too cold to begin with from the fridge but once it warmed up it showed its considerable charms. Fruit characters fading - honey, savoury and mineral to the fore. 2017 probably the best year for white burgundy since 2014. — 2 years ago
Very solid wine, intense nose of ripe white fruits backed by citrus and buttery, almond hints, fleshy palate finishing on fresh acidity. Still has a lot of potential — 3 years ago
It had an odd mustiness on the finish, not TCA but kind of moldy, though it faded with air. — 2 years ago
Not as good as the Les combettes 2020. Also at Charleston — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. A wine I haven’t had. Apparently a combo of Grenache and Cabernet. Strong strawberry nose. A nice palate of dark cherry strawberry tobacco. Complex long finish. — 4 years ago

Medium lemon colour. On the nose this is quite mineral and expressive at first , taught lemon peel and some oyster shell , touch herbal , orange . With time this becomes more fruit driven , with lots of ripe citrus . Quite rich and ample on the palate with lemon richness and some grapefruit , with a touch of butter , just a touch of chalk dust to balance , creamy mouthfeel. Balanced but not particularly fresh acidity . Good length , quite rounded and generous in style . Still quite young but drinking well from now and over the next 5 or so years . — 14 days ago
