Medium straw with green reflexes . Pear , quince , melon , with a sage and white pepper twist. On the palate a bit rounder than the nose would suggest , though with high balanced acidity. The palate shows pear, melon and fresh herbal notes with a touch of white pepper, blanched almond , lemon pith on the finish. Ok length with balanced alcohol . Drink now and over the next 5-8 years — 3 months ago

One of my absolute favorites, but I have to order it from Italy. Vernaccia nera grape — 8 months ago
With 7 years age, a tamed beast that always delights me. Have no idea what they do the Sangiovese to make it so feral & alive. Very dark black fruits. Slight frizzante & ping pong tannins. Let it develop in glass so you can taste how the fireworks morph. This wine has been around for a while,& I always have fun with it. Great QPR too. — 5 months ago
Nose - shells, fresh flowers. Main flavors - cantaloupe, and apple. Great with cheesy pasta. — a day ago
Delicious! Gentle creaminess, acidic at first then melts down. — 3 months ago

Medium straw colour . Quite lean and focused on the nose at first , white stone fruits , peach , apricot , blanched almonds, sage . On the palate quite rich and creamy , just balanced acidity with good intensity of similar fruits to the nose , white peach , touch of apricot, with a herbal touch on the finish. A little bit fat , with the alcohol showing through a little , but with ok length and balance overall. The following day this shows a little better balance , and integration . The texture of this wine is made for food and will probably age quite well over the next 5 or so years — 4 days ago
