Montpelain Morgon Gamay

@Delectable This is the Montpelain bottling. Serious and structured. Needs air. Raspberry coulis and crushed rocks. Gains weight with air. Aged in concrete egg. More time needed. — 16 days ago

Aux Pierres Javernières Morgon Gamay 2020

See previous entry.
Still pretty spot on review.
This bottle may have been opened a bit colder, straight out of the keeper.
Still great red/black fruits and chewy.
Granite in your mouth. A very tactile wine. Announces it’s presence without taking over. Refreshing & bright.
Great stuff.

@Daniel Bloom I had read somewhere that this cuvée was rather intended for aging, anyway, Desvignes do incredible things

La Voûte Saint-Vincent Morgon Gamay 2019

The delicacy of Beaujolais wines with the beautiful concentration of Morgon wines. First Cuvée by great artisans of the appellation. A wine with direct pleasure but nevertheless deep with lightness. The finish is stretched with herbaceous notes and beautiful tight and persistent tannins.
