Muted on day 1. Cool bruised apple oxidation on day 2. — 6 days ago
A unique blend, mostly Jacquere with Roussanne, Malvasia, and Mondeuse. Medium lemon color with aromas of white flesh and citrus fruits with notes of white flowers. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus notes with honeysuckle and nutty notes. Long finish ending with fruit, floral and oaky notes. — 2 months ago
Very mineral chardonnay, a taste of the terroir really. Lovely.

Stunner. Like a cross between Riesling and Chenin Blanc. Beautiful aromas of lemon, ripe peach, and kiwi with fresh herbs. Delicate but powerful on the palate with searing, gripping acidity, flavors that are just turned up to 11, and a finish that won’t quit. — 4 months ago

This wine immediately hits you with barnyard and leather on the nose, followed by tart red fruit, plum, pepper, and herbs on the palate. Highly-pronounced minerality, like all of the other wines I've had by Domaine des Ardoisières. Lighter-bodied than Gamay from Beaujolais, but no less worthy of praise. Simultaneously easy-drinking and complex. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — a month ago
