The nose alone is worth the price of admission. A vibrant perfumed red fruited nose. My palate was treated to waves of cinnamon , cherries and earth. Wonderful balancing acid. The grapes are from a plot in Flagey - Echezeaux. Carbonic maceration and 7 months in tank. Great match with brisket in a mushroom sauce. Field blend of somewhat 14 varieties. 11% ABV. Lucid ruby. Aromatic summer strawberries, cherries, violets. Subtle smokiness. Salinity in the aftertaste entices to take big thirsty gulps. Very reminiscent of the Jura’s (l'Aigle a Deux Tetes) Trousseau. Ideal summer wine! — 8 months ago
