Darker than usual but still shows the characteristic fruit and acidity. The tannin layer shows unique vertical structure. Well worth it. — 7 months ago

Fixin Pinot Noir 2015

[Tasted on August 15, 2020 at Home]

Sweet cherry fruit with smoke, cedar and forest floor, and a hint of mint on the finish. Medium-bodied Burgundy driven by red fruit and smoke.

Château Jean Faux

Sainte-Radegonde White Bordeaux Blend

2015 vintage. Not easy to find the right information on this lovely estate, on their website there is no mention of a white wine at all. On the internet you will find a white and red "Sainte-Radegonde". I have no idea if this "Les Pins Francs" is another wine or the same under another label, but confusion aside it is absolutely delicious. Sauvignon shines through in the nose with grassy flavours mixed with lime, flowers and a more exotic fruit component I associate with Sémillon. In the mouth concentrated peach fruit and lemon confit, perfectly balanced by the acidity and a long fresh minty finish. Terrific value too at about 17 euro. Kudos to owner Pascal Collotte! — 7 months ago

Marsannay Pinot Noir Rosé 2019

What an interesting wine. Berries and apples with mineral. The color is deceiving and lighter than you think. — 9 months ago
