Prior notes still apply, love this bottle; Years in the tank still!
Nose has never ending crushing of flint/granite, warm lemon curd, salted yellow apple slice, cool Asian pear and old, crystalline cheddar.
Palate has ripe pineapple, over-ripe yellow apple, moist chalk/limestone, dried coconut shreds, faint butter notes and table salt, with medium acidity.
A great wine, slow oxidation for 2H then decanted 1H, so many years in front of this amazing bottle. Drink this 2026-2030 from proper storage. — 2 months ago
WOW 7-28-21. A bit disappointing. Aired out ok. Maybe too complex for me. LOL — 6 months ago
Sweet and very Pinot Noir. — 8 months ago
Beautiful Pommard with pale ruby hue; strawberry, cherry, forest floor, and sweet tobacco scents. The palette is elegant yet subtly powerful with red fruit, earthy minerals, and light oak; it is dry, medium bodied, with high acidity and medium plus tannings which contribute to a lengthy and savory finish. Just quintessential Burgundy, loved it, cheers. — 5 months ago
