Brambly black fruit - fresh, crushed, juicy - with a big pinch of pepper. Add to this a bit of violets and some crushed rock - this is not a shy wine.
Poised & balanced on the palate with juicy acidity, fine tannins and a sense of place. Quite elegant, too.
Shows Cinsault stand-alone can make a really nice wine. — 3 months ago
First grand cru from AF gros I’ve had. Have heard good things, but surprisingly didn’t enjoy it as much as many AF Gros premier crus I’ve had — a month ago
Kiwi, canned pineapple, corn husks and asian pear on the nose.
Beautiful texture and balance. A richness but super bright and great lift with the acid that hits you at the mid palate and takes you through to the finish. Taste like a zesty Napoleon dessert (cream, kiwi, apricot). — 3 months ago
2015 in magnum. Really great if not overly serious — 6 months ago

Opened broad and fat but seemed to gain some acidity in the glass. Round red and dark fruit without much structure of complexity. Had much better Bourgogne in my time. Short. — 21 days ago
