Haven’t had much from Azelia which is why I was curious. A solid langhe Nebbiolo, especially at $23 in today’s world. Definitely on the lighter side, but still good fruit and acid with a whisper of tannin. Nice with pork chops, especially with a slight chill — 9 months ago

Dark ruby red color. Aromas of violets, red fruit, wet earth and orange zest. Flavors of red cherry/currant/raspberry fruit, tobacco, lavender and sweet/holiday baking spices. Long lasting and very earthy medium-plus finish. Well balanced, fresh and quite elegant. Beautifully rustic. Great aging potential. A true “Baby Brunello!” Thanking Petey and Kasey for sharing this outstanding bottle! — 3 days ago
