Like a tart, effervescent, Italian ricola. What you want Lambrusco to be, if only they sold Jeff Mangums of the stuff. — 6 months ago
Perfect on Colin’s roof deck. Tart. Juicy. — 2 months ago
Nick brought as guest to our house. We both really like it. A bit more expensive like 38 dollars. — 7 months ago
Medium light ruby garnet , wide terracotta , garnet rim . Quite discreet on the nose , herbal touches , dried rose , some dried red plum and menthol . On the palate a bit more fresh red fruits , cherry and red plum , but some dry spice and a sweet liquorice tinged medium length finish . Balanced acidity and rounded tannin, just slightly warming alcohol so I would drink this slightly cooler. This is still drinking quite well though has lost quite a bit of fresh fruit , so I would drink this sooner than later . Now and over the next couple of years . — 3 months ago
You’ve got to be kidding me. A 2007 Salvo Foti wine. A museum piece. Wonderful Etna Rosso minerals, herbs, deep red fruit. Thank you Alex, for finding and gifting it. — 7 months ago

Deep garnet color. Aromas of bright/ripe/sweet red fruit, rose petals, charcoal and light oak. Ripe red cherry and plum fruit on the palate with hints of sweet spices. Long finish with pleasant notes of wood smoke. Juicy tannins and quite elegant for such a young Nebbiolo based wine. Quite fresh and invigorating. Thanks for sharing, Keith S. — 10 days ago
