Deep garnet color. Aromas of bright/ripe/sweet red fruit, rose petals, charcoal and light oak. Ripe red cherry and plum fruit on the palate with hints of sweet spices. Medium light ruby garnet , wide terracotta , garnet rim . Quite discreet on the nose , herbal touches , dried rose , some dried red plum and menthol . On the palate a bit more fresh red fruits , cherry and red plum , but some dry spice and a sweet liquorice tinged medium length finish . Balanced acidity and rounded tannin, just slightly warming alcohol so I would drink this slightly cooler. This is still drinking quite well though has lost quite a bit of fresh fruit , so I would drink this sooner than later . Now and over the next couple of years . — 3 months ago
