Mineral-forward, dry, and refreshing. Apparently, the vineyard drilled through volcanic rock to plant their grapes. — 5 months ago
The 2020 Etna Bianco Gamma is more savory than sweet, with a mineral-inflected blend of crushed rocks, young peach and lemon oil. It's round yet takes on a crunchy feel. Tart orchard fruits and citrus tones collide over a core of zesty acidity. This leaves a tropical floral flourish along with saline minerals as the mouth is left watering and nectarine hints slowly fade. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2023)

Magnificent Alpine Red. Blend of Petite Rouge (75%), Mayolet (5%), Vien de Nus (10%) and Premetta (5%). Medium red color with purple highlights. Intense aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, black cherry/berry fruit, purple flowers, roasted nuts, black licorice and pepper spice. Firm tannins and a long, lingering and velvety finish. No sign of oak aging. Well balanced with excellent structure. A most pleasant surprise. Revisited in January 2024. Excellent! — 4 months ago
The 2019 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte is a gorgeous, exotic, intriguing wine. Dried flowers, mint, lavender, spice, tobacco and incense are all beautifully delineated. Ample and vibrant, with tons of depth, the 2019 is absolutely compelling today. The 2019 offers tons of Le Coste power, and a good deal of finesse as well. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2023)

Immediately delicious upon pop-n-pour… but developed significantly over the course of a 3-4 hour decant. This stuff is simply delicious… perfectly balanced and complex. This firmly has a spot in my top 5 favorite BdMs… (which says a lot!) — 2 months ago
Very very good, also sweet — 5 months ago

Lemon-grapefruit aroma and flavor with a smooth finish, nice introduction to a sparkling rosé from a part of CA not as famous for wine — 3 days ago
