Enjoyed with butternut bisque, baked cod, devils on horseback, lobster ravioli, scallops, shrimp, and banana sticky toffee with vanilla ice cream. — 2 years ago
This Californian Vermentino felt crisp at first with finishing nutty and fruity notes, paired well with seafood. — 5 years ago

Too soon, so I reckon. Ought to have kept my trap shut, my hands to themselves, lest they get to the devils work of openin bottles too soon — 7 years ago
Dang this is tasty, especially with the devils affogato that I'm eating at current. Loads of nuttiness, coffee, fig jam, saline. Beautiful texture and not at all cloying. I hate to toot my own horn (my wife will tell you "no you don't..") but this pairing was freakin amazing. — 8 years ago
Loved. Great Shiraz. Will buy again — 9 years ago
A beautifully elegant fruit forward wine using the grapes from Stanners’ own vineyard & blending them with the grapes from Devil’s Wishbone. The first taste is restrained & austere before the fruit bursts forward.

The wine delivers aromas of ripe red fruits like black cherry and raspberries. It has strong notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and other smoked aromas. In the palate you can feel the tart red fruit flavors mixed with vegetal notes of green pepper and other herbal flavors.
It is one of Central Italy's most tannic wines. A ver interesting and recommended bottle! 🍷
About the producer: "Azienda Agraria Scacciadiavoli is an estate in Umbria situated in the wine producing region of Montefalco. It has been owned by the Pambuffetti family since 1954.
The name "Scacciadiavoli" stems from the words "scacciare", meaning to banish, and "diavoli", the Italian word for devils. This unusual name can be traced back to an 18th century exorcism of a woman, whereby she was given red wines as a means of expelling the demon from her body."
Cheers to Italy! 🍷

Serendipity is located on the Naramata bench in BC, producing several high quality lines. This one is no exception, absolutely delicious! Dark burgundy colour, almost black. Medium bodied. Tasteful dark fruit, plums, and cassis. Well blended and structured as you would expect. — 8 years ago
