My favorite wine !! Fruity nose. Sweet smooth and deciduous — 7 years ago
Rivals BFM 225 as the best beer on earth. Dry. Crushable. #deciduous of NH is en fuego! ---- this is like a Berliner in a way, but much more complex. #grisset off the charts way above a #perfectten — 9 years ago
HELLOOOOO acidity with surprisingly nuanced structure. Raspberry, wild blackberry, charcuterie, leather; walking in a deciduous forest vibes; cool climate, small town vibes; just all around delicious and great value. — 4 years ago
Really expressive deciduous leaf... kicking up the ground cover in the fall. Fruits are all pomegranate husk, underripe red plum. Great savory elements. A slight suggestion of brown mushroom. Faint considerations of khaki pipe tobacco and cigar box. Really damn pretty. Highly recommened. — 6 years ago
Black cherry and plum, deciduous tree.. for the price ... great — 8 years ago
Off the charts good 10+ ... #topten in the ranks of Orval and BFM ROOT 225 — 9 years ago
Whoa, so Deciduous! So refreshing and easy to drink — 5 years ago
Rich sourdough, apple butter, quince, orange zest, white flowers, dried deciduous leaves, peach, apple skins, underripe kiwi, very tart golden raspberry... gorgeous! Crisp, clean, dry, long finish. Incredibly fun and thought provoking! A real gem. — 6 years ago
Smell is totally neat - transient, ranging from a cocktail washed maraschino cherry to vermouth to a deciduous rainforest, the body is wet and prevalent with a fairly quick disappaition that keeps last 20% for a while in a light post mint coolness, the syrupiness at the front is down and out, the ending of candied cherry soaked and drain in brown booze — 7 years ago

Poured into a decanter maybe an hour prior to service. The 1970 Tondonia Gran Reserva pours a garnet color with a transparent core, moving towards a slightly orange rim. Medium viscosity with light staining of the tears and some signs of fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous and absolutely brilliant with a mix of desiccated and ripe fruits: dried Morello and Montmorency cherry, cocoa powder, mushrooms, old leather bound books, an entire cabinet full of dried herbs and spices, a memory of barnyard and a deciduous forest floor. On the palate, the wine is dry with good structure still: medium tannin (fully integrated) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and makes me believe there is something bigger than us in this life. This bottle, on this afternoon, gives the confidence to embrace the mystery. Drink now with an hour of air but I get the sense this is one of those Energizer Bunny wines… — 18 days ago
