Great as Pinots go but only good for this maker. These half bottles continue to perplex. — 3 months ago
Wonderfully balanced. A little cherry but not too much. Standout merlot. — 4 months ago
Issue with the half bottle again. These just aren’t right…. Would be good if not. — a month ago
I liked this more than I can remember liking a syrah. Restrained, well balanced, delicious. — 4 months ago

Black cherry, chocolate, tannins are light, semi dry, would buy again. We both enjoyed it. — a month ago
My review may not be beneficial to all because of my drinking style. I drink the bottle myself over the course of a week. With this Freakshow Cab Sauv, my review changed from the first to last glass. The first glass was strong, thin, and barely enjoyable. With subsequent glasses tasted a developing sweetness and thickness. I realize this is counter intuitive to wines normally being best when being allowed to breathe a bit after opening. Just wasn’t the case for me with this one. Rating was a 6.5 to start and a 9.5 at the end I’m grading with a curve to give it an overall 9. Will buy again based on Freakshow reputation and hope for a better early result. — a month ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with licorice, black pepper and toasty oak. Firm tannins, lively acidity, medium finish ending with fruit, oak and savory spice. — 5 months ago

Saline, dry, red berry, citrus rind, bitters. Very nice, but I prefer a little more fruit and a little more French. With the first grill of the season! Charred salmon, asparagus, corn on the cob, and strawberry tomato and watermelon salad — 19 days ago
