Strawberry/Cherry on the nose.
Freshy and fruity at first. Almost ripe plum with a bit of bitterness. Slightly woody. — 14 days ago
Zin and pizza combo was so good! Black licorice and pomegranate are the major note we tasted. It was a light Zin but delicious with food. — 10 days ago
Absolutely delicious. Drank it chilled. Very light, bitter cherry taste. — 16 days ago
I don’t drink many purple wines these days in fact if any, but this was a gift from a colleague & supervisee so I felt a certain obligation. Not a bad one: new oak obvious, still has some lift and floral notes through that blueberry/ blueberry pie palate. You could do a lot worse, and Frederick Wildman thought enough of it to import. Still, caveat is that not my taste but some may be wild over it ( a 92 from J Suckling?! My lord, he does score high). — 13 days ago
I can literally find no information about this wine but it is a great rose! A gorgeous deep pink color in the glass, almost a soft red color. The nose is deep with no notion of fruit, instead aromas of herbs and game fill the nose, almost like a structured bandol. The palate is lush and complex. A deep red currant and red raspberry palate lead to spice, white pepper, dried oregano and a touch of smoke and meat. The flavors linger on the finish with some tannin and soft, creamy acidity. Wow! About as an atypical rose as you can get but it is good. — 15 days ago
Chillable red. Great bang for for buck at $12/btl — 3 months ago
