Apples and honeydew... surprisingly fruity! — 3 years ago
Interesting blend of Tempranillo (61%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (39%). Beautiful copper/salmon color. Intense aromas of peaches, strawberry and rose petals. Same fruits on the lifted pallet with a bit of lemon zest and minerals. More heft and texture (little bit of tannin) than a Provence-style Rose’. — 3 years ago
Man this was locked up and scorchy on opening, but with air it’s slowly coming around. After 90 minutes it’s still showing a slightly scorchy component on the nose, but dark ripe berry ooze and smoky minerals are slowly winning out. On the palate it’s rich, savory, and long, but with a tad too much bitterness for my taste. The scorchy nose, impenetrable color, and significant bitterness on the finish indicate to me that this was a bit too extracted to really sing. — 4 years ago
Slightly dry upfront. Soft dark fruit that dries your tongue and fades quickly. — 10 years ago
