Pretty good, but not as much complexity and spice as some. — 5 years ago
A few fun bottles from last Friday.
I’ve enjoyed many Krupp reds but had never tried this. Honestly, I think this may not have been cool enough for my liking. Definitely a more flavorful and rich rosé, with a deep hue. Rose petals, watermelon jolly rancher and gummy strawberries are the main notes here, but the finish has a slight spice and black cherry note thanks to the Tempranillo. Unique. — a year ago

Man this was locked up and scorchy on opening, but with air it’s slowly coming around. After 90 minutes it’s still showing a slightly scorchy component on the nose, but dark ripe berry ooze and smoky minerals are slowly winning out. On the palate it’s rich, savory, and long, but with a tad too much bitterness for my taste. The scorchy nose, impenetrable color, and significant bitterness on the finish indicate to me that this was a bit too extracted to really sing. — 3 months ago
