The Custodian Grenache 2016

I really love D’Arenberg. Their budget wines- Stump Jumps - are always a good value( though not quite as good the last few years. This one and the Shiraz ( The Footbolt) are always terrific and @20$ I cant really afford the expensive ones but these rock. Medium bodied- not big and jammy- but great fruit and no wood! Finish lingers with some tannic bitterness. Can drink on its own or very food friendly. I had it with grilled burgers. And vintage to vintage, it’s really good! — a month ago
