v18. This is good! Peppered, candied black cherry nose . Luscious, fresh, rich black cherry fruit. Long, pleasant, spicy finish. Very good food wine. — 2 months ago

This Castillion Chateau was acquired by the late Denis Durantou of L'Eglise Clinet roughly 15 years ago. Just as promised it delivers excellent value. Damp earth, currants, plums, black truffle and some green notes. Very solid. Would buy again. 2019 is the last vintage Monsieur Darantou harvested. — 3 days ago
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this - but quite nice. Definitely late secondary at this point, not expecting any positive development. Dark red fruit, still a bit of dusty tannins, still enough acid. Nice pairing with a corned beef for St Patrick’s day. — 2 months ago
2019 vintage. Another great second wine from Cru Classé Couvent des Jacobins. Elegance, purity of fruit, velvety tannin, freshness, and very good length. This definitely has some of the class of the grand vin, in a more immediately approachable style. Abv. 14,5%. — 5 months ago
