Bright Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spices, oak and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and sweet plum with notes of herb pepper, tobacco, cedar and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with oak and earthy notes. Needs a few more years in the bottle! — 23 days ago
Phenomenal wine! Elegant but with subtle power. Rich red fruit with dark raspberries, hints of strawberry, crushed stone, touches of tar and cedar and subtle hints of smoke with chalky tannins. Classic barbaresco. Will try again! A wine to go back to. — 17 days ago
Aromas of rose, tobacco, red fruits, stewed fruit, an herbal component, and anise. Taste of red, cherries, cranberries, and a nice spice note. Velvety and luscious with a long finish. A Great Barbaresco! — 25 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2021 pours a pale garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Morello cherry, raspberries, red flowers, tar, dried green herbs and gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. One of the better bargains in the world of wine. Drink now through 2041. — 2 days ago
