Awesome to drink side by side with the house barbaresco from the same producer. The house is slightly higher in alcohol, tastes more extracted, and is more tannic. This single vineyard is lighter, brighter, more focused yet more complex and continued to evolve for hours in the decanter. Worth the extra $35 but also found myself enjoying the house barbaresco for its depth, quality, and value. The only thing that can make the Montefico even better is some time
