This sparkler carries the new Corpinnat designation, meaning it's no longer Cava. Pale lemon with citrus and stone fruit aromas with biscuit notes and good bubble flow. Clean fresh palate of apple and pear with lime citrus zest flavors. Medium+ finish ending with wet stone minerality and citrus character. A nice alternative to a French Champagn. — 9 months ago

Vintage is 2018. Refreshing sparkler with apple and mineral notes on the nose that continue onto the palette. Overall just really nice and refreshing. Would be nice if it were a bit more complex, but still some nice yeasty notes and a slight hint of spice in the background, with the yeast veering more into the savory side rather than nutty/brioche flavors. Finish is pleasant but simple with the yeastiness dominating. Nice wine to come home to and relax after a long day at work. — 4 months ago

Lime, green apple; freshness with depth. Smoke / pencil eraser note there but delicate, adding a layer as opposed to dominant. Great touch of toasted vanilla lees on palate. Very good and gorgeous; wouldn’t been great but seemed a tad flat (just wanted a bit more fizz and flash). One of the best “cavas” I’ve ever had. — 2 years ago

The 2018 Brut Imperial is a Corpinnat blend of 56% Xarel·lo, 30% Macabeo, 10% Parellada and 4% Chardonnay. Produced using the traditional method, it spent 60 months on the lees. The bouquet features aromas of lime and lemon pie, complemented by a delicate array of fine herbs. Dry and creamy on the palate, the ethereal flow is enlivened by calibrated acidity.
