Difficile de juger pour moi n’étant pas amateur d’alcool fort. Ca me semblait bien fait mais la notation et comparaison est difficile — 24 days ago
From a particularly ripe year this wine is already more expressive than usual. With just 10% semillon in the Blend, the Sauvignon comes wonderfully to the fore: Ripe pear, lemon, green apple, gooseberry, beeswax, white flowers, white peach, a kiss of toasted oak, flint, struck match and wet stone. Crisp acidity, medium body and wonderfully long on the finish. It has another decade of pleasure at least but it’s hard to resist now. — 2 months ago
Not all Bourgogne are created equal, red or white, this we can all agree. This is one of the best Bourgogne blanc I have had in some time and is from Pommard legend Comte Armand, a house known for their powerful but ethereal reds from Pinot Noir.
A light to medium gold color. Impressive nose and flavors of juicy green and golden delicious apple, slate/stone like minerality, white florals like an elegant honeysuckle, a light toasted hazelnut note, with a touch of baking spice and vanilla you'd expect on this young white Burgundy (all used barrels here btw!). Very good and refreshing acidity. Long and elegant finish, the flavors stay with you while the weightlessness of the palate impresses!
This drinks more like a really good village or 1er as it should as Condemaine is a single parcel near Volnay. I also wanted to try this as it has 10% Chardonnay muscaté which no doubt adds to the complexity and intensity of the nose and palate. — a month ago
Good now but seems like a lot more life ahead. Ripe red cherries, strawberries, maybe plums. Moderate plus acidity and more tannins than you’d expect from pinot. Some chalkiness and almost meaty notes. Vanilla is noticeable. Just better and better as it opens. — 15 days ago
