Had this 2022 at same time as the 2020 Chiroubles which was so spectacular it upstaged this very good Fleurie. Beep violet color, a little spice dark fruits and black stony structure with a hint of iron. — 6 months ago

Blackberry, black pepper, meat juice... This is textbook Syrah from Northern Rhône. The palate is a model of balance. Sheer acid and great matter. Good width and a lively mouthfeel. Pointy tannins a bit of a grain in mid palate. Very long finish with blackberry and those meat juice notes that are consistent with the nose. This is probably much too early to open it and I think it'd be better with food, but this is one of the best crozes I've had so far along with some cuvées from Combier. Great stuff! — 2 years ago

Trying this 2020 as a sample given to me. Outstanding in every way . Could just smell this for the rest of the day. Very full for a Chiroubles but stays tight and structured with spiced deeper red fruits. Nice acidity. Interesting mineral and charcoal qualities in the background. The slightest hint of Brett.
