This is the white Douro. 2018 vintage. A blend from 70% viosinho, 20% codega do larinho and 10% couveio. Sister and brother oenologists team. 80% of the fruit is sourced in Baixo Corgo (Poiares, 700 m altitude) and 20% in the Douro Superior (Murças, 580 m altitude). Whole cluster pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. White peach and flowers in the nose. In the mouth the juicy white peach fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and a distinctive minty finish with very good length. Amazing value at less than 12 euro. Abv. 12,5%. — 6 years ago
This was a perfect accompaniment to baked cod. It is mellow and doesn't overpower but still has plenty of personality. Enjoyed it with just a slight chill on it. I think serving temperature is key to appreciating this one. — 7 years ago

Lovely rose old vines blend 50% codega do Larihno, 30% rabigato, 20% viosihno. Unfiltered upper Douro schist soil terroir bleeds through. 6 months on Fr & Amer. Oak vanillin rounds out this open easy drinking profile. I had this with a watermelon arugula & feta salad with a light creamy herb dressing... wonderful! $15 — 9 years ago

Field blend of Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Gouveio from 80 years old vines on schist soils. Vineyard on the right bank of the Douro River, in the prime Cima Corgo zone, at an altitude of 400-600 metres. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 6 months in oak. Clean, precise nose with citrus (tangerine), floral notes and and subtle oak. Fresh, linear, medium bodied, dry. Good minerality and acidity. Very tasty — 4 years ago

This is my new favorite summer white. — 8 years ago
Beautiful supple lightly fruity blend showing complex character of old vines native varietals grown in the upper Douro aged 6 mos on oak to add a vanilla note. $15 — 9 years ago
I'm proud to be the very first one tagging this baco. A great surprise! What a sharp long wine, vigorous acidity, citron and aged fruits ... Surely over 80 years! Grapes were unknown to me, but very exotic, specially Codega de Larinho. From a non fashion region in Portugal, Tras-os-Montes, I invite courageous ppl to go for it! — 11 years ago
