Purchased 2014 on-site at vineyard 2018 during Bordeaux-Dordogne holiday. Opened 10/22/2021. Pours very black. Hot alcohol, light tannin. Pine cone resin. Leather and wood. Cedar? Blackberry. Good structure as if well made eine. Very smooth. At peak? Pepper on finish. Unfolds nicely with time and cold. — 4 years ago
Lemon Yellow in colour. Aromatics of citrus, apple and white daisies (Barb). Very delicate on the palate with those aromatics of citrus and apple coming through with minerality. A touch of salinity to finish off. Like most PYCM bottles this is way too heavy. — 6 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2019 Hommage à “Marguerite” is a blend of three 1er cru vineyards in Saint-Aubin: Les Perrieres, Les Combes, Les Creots. The wine pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, lemon, starfruit, mixed white and yellow flowers, marzipan and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and there’s a lovely, creamy texture that accompanies the racy acidity. Drink now through 2039. — 9 months ago

Very savory, underbrush, herbs, and pencil shavings, with dried red fruit. Interesting cus apparently this hasn’t seen any oak. Medium body, fine tannins, and nice lift. — 4 years ago

On first tasting this wine it was noticeably saline and mineral/gravel on the palate. Also notes of citrus and white stone fruits. Oak influence is subdued - matured in 350 litre oak barrels. Overall a great balance between austerity and opulence. Points off for a ridiculously heavy bottle. — 17 days ago
