Lots of fruit. Not a strong finish. Dark berries but not super heavy. — a year ago
Funky and delicious with pork pasta. — 3 years ago
Finessed tension. Bright brambly black fruits dance delightfully. Happy aromas that waft out of the glass. This is the type of bottle that disappears. Underated. — 4 years ago
Golden yellow in colour and nicely aromatic with dried herbs, summer meadow, hints of chamomile, plus some ripe yellow peach in the background. Rich yet salty, fresh & quite savoury.
Medium bodied on the palate, beautifully balanced with ripe peach countered by salty minerality and dried herbs.
This has quite some character so works very nicely with food (risotto milanese!!) less so for sipping solo.

OMG comes to mind. Primary flavors of citrus, tropical notes, maybe honey and a waxy note and the acidity to keep it straight. Got to find more.! Great producer. — a year ago
Bright. Nice mix of mineral and fruit. Strong body. — 8 months ago
— 2 years ago

dark ruby and a fairly reductive nose, this was my first experience with Freisa. red fruited but muted, lots of earth & forest, bramble - big on palate, grippy tannins yet a jolt of acidity. very unusual overall. interesting & cerebral - imagine this complements heavy tomato based dishes — 19 days ago
