Solid Italy. Sharp tannin. — 25 days ago
What a wine! Semi dried ripe cherries in nose. Balanced and mild tanins. Line, plums, dark cherries and a pinch of sour dark bread on plateau. Palette rich, medium rounded and developed nicely within breathing.
Comparing to vintages 2021 and 2022 much less sweet and fruity. Feels like more matured than it is.
Great itself and paired to smoked meat. — 3 months ago
Really good - 2022 vintage — 4 months ago
Great blen for Italy wine lovers. Thick and round bodied. Deep red color, red berries by nose, very smooth and drinkable. Just a little bit too sweet as for me. Almost perfect. — 5 months ago
Interesting! Lots of folks don’t like this, but it has plenty of minerals with sharp citrus and a hint of flowers. Yum. — 7 months ago

Tecce is one of my favorite Italian producers. The 2022 Satyricon doesn’t disappoint. Opens up after 3-4 hours. Dried flowers, cherries and charcoal on the nose. Lovely aromatics. Tart cranberries with blackberries. Sharp minerality, mouth-puckering tannins, astringent, dry, dusty and savory long finish. Very long. Young. 14.5% abv, but it doesn’t feel overly full or heavy. I remember the 2020 being darker and more fruit-forward, but I could be wrong. — 15 days ago
