This wine has a pale, straw yellow color in the glass with hints of green. The nose sports a boatload of citrus - lemon, lime, tangerine - with a slight herbal scent. Pinot Grigio usually is too floral and flaccid for my taste. Not this one. The palate has every bit of that citrus from the nose and minerality to spare. Acidity is bracing, so food pairings will be easy. But this is a great sipper, too, as an aperitif. — 4 months ago
