So this really never mellowed. Stayed pretty hot.. I think this could sit a while longer. Hopeful but when I drink a 2012 Ciacci Piccolomini, it's ready. So I don't know.

Quite the surprise! The nose is just right there upon uncorking with a fresh berry scent that transcends right into the glass. This is a great wine just to sip or with tomato sauce, pasta and cheese and definitely a crusty bread. A real bargain. — 2 months ago
