First wine of the Holiday Weekend! Interesting Austrian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufrankish, Zweigelt, Merlot and Syrah. Bright red color with a ruby core. Dark cherry aromas with a hint of smoke and wet stones. Palate is full of cherry/red berry fruit with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices and black pepper. Touch of vanilla and cedar on the extremely long finish. Medium bodied, well structured and nicely balanced. Tannins are present but in check. — 6 months ago

Juicy and delicious. Slightly effervescent. A bit of melon and starfruit. Sweet on the nose but really bright and citrusy. — 3 months ago
Crisp and clean with under ripe pear and a soft stone fruit finish. A perfect white for the afternoon. So great. $18 or so at Top Ten — 6 months ago
Nice aromatics, ski FF toy darker, with fresh sweet dark cherry, some dark berries, a hint of fresh mushrooms. Very fresh & airy. Enticing.
On the palate this surprises with quite some grip. Fresh acidity, nice purity of fruit and quite a tannic, juicy frame.
A touch hit towards the finish (14% alc) yet a truly nice one. Drinkable, elegant, complete, quite lovely. — a year ago

Delicious Grüner Veltliner! Aromas and tastes of citrus, Granny Smith apples, and a hint of basil. Refreshing, balanced acidity and sweetness, and eminently drinkable on its own. Purchased from Clos. — 7 hours ago
