Estate Dopp Creek Pinot Noir 2019

Located in the western end of Dopp Road where the Chehalem Mountains converge with Ribbon Ridge, medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits and enticing spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry and wild cherry with pepper, toasty spice and earthy notes. Young with fine integrated tannins, well defined, elegant with underlying richness, long finish ending with oaky notes. Nice value, will age well! — 2 months ago

Arlyn Vineyard Gamay Noir 2019

Summer yum …. Killer gamay noir from Pinot/chard experts. We all need more light bodied summer reds that dance across your palate at cellar temp. Low ABV… light purple, cherry, berry, juicy sweetness with lively acid driving the fruit towards the finish. The bottle was gone too quickly with smash burgers and hand cut fries. Reminder to self: buy more next year, — 4 years ago

Pale clear yellow. Nose of lemon pear with a nice crispness on the palate. Very burgundy like on the way down with a great combination of lemon, pear, melon and great mineral. Love this wine — 5 years ago

Boulder Bluff Pinot Noir 2019

Reddish/ purplish in color with light intensity.

Soft on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, light oak, spices, herbs and black tea.

Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Oregon. Elegant and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.

This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is complex, spicy and entertaining.

Wine Enthusiasts 92 points. Wine Spectator 88 points.

Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years. A little longer for this Magnum.

Good by itself as a sipping wine.

100% Pinot Noir grapes were grown on volcanic soils from 25 year old vines. Drunk from a Magnum.

13% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$85 (750ml).

Margo Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. The curious case of the pinot noir where the mid-palate remarkably remained as if on command. Bright as a bell. Would not transition to the finish. Just stood there, in the middle of the tongue, blocking the traffic. Curious enough to buy two cases at $35 a bottle. 3.11.26. — 3 months ago

Earthy, meaty, leathery, darkly fruited. Class, breed, finesse. Classic old school Ribbon Ridge Pinot. This wine needed these 15 years to express all that. I expect at least another five years of aging potential. — 3 years ago
