Wonderful full bodied and smooth! Drinking with a friend who doesn’t like Syrah and she is loving it also! — 6 years ago
Revisiting the 2016 Umino from Chasseur. It is still going strong with vibrant red fruit, earthiness, nice acidity. I will miss these when they are gone (final vintage from Chasseur) — 9 months ago
Very smooth, medium bodied—full bodied, new world style—Outstanding Pinot, found at bargain price of $16

Classic Chasseur. Floral nose with honey, nice fruit, balanced acidity, oak and malolactic influences, a well made Cali Chardonnay — 6 years ago
Berry acidic and tasty. — 6 years ago
Lovely if far too young. Beautiful saline note running through red fruit of great length. Refreshing match for lapin chasseur. — 3 years ago
Smooth french red, intense red berry fruit and a ripe rich and flavoured palate. — 4 years ago
A very limited production Ribera del Duero of 6,990 bottles in a great year @ €180-€265 that should age into a Vega Sicilia quality wine as a very intense big wine 😈 but well balanced 😉 I’d drink in 10-15 years but superb already 😁
📍 Viña Pedrosa Perez Pascuas Gran Selección 2010

👃 I had to peel these aromas from my nose as they overpowered it in chocolatey rich dark fruit goo in a porty style of spiced dark cherry, earthy dark plum, melted chocolate, herbs & smoke w/ raspberry liquorice, minerals, date compote, prune pie & soft oak
👄 Full bodied rich ripe smooth ultra silky gooey creamy melted black cherry & chocolate w/ raspberry, liquorice & cherry liqueur
🎯 Long Long Long (like never ending!) lingering dark cherry explosive punch in the teeth oozing through raspberry chocolate liquorice gloop
