The grape variety is Marsanne, not Syrah.
Pronounced peach and honey aromas, some ginger, minerality, acacia and nutty aromas.
An elegant and savoury finish! — 2 months ago
The one Burgundy in my lineup of 6 Chardonnays. Grapefruit/Citrus, some flint - not as smoky and sulphidic as the Giaconda. I thought some tasters might have thought the Giaconda was the white Burgundy (all tasted blind). 35 year old vines. Quite fine. — 2 months ago
Tangerine, white peach, crisp acidity. — 20 days ago
High crispy acid, flinty, lovely depth. I just adore everything PYCM 😍 — a month ago
Talk about the perfect wine for the meal. We did local heirloom tomatoes, Barata cheese, and it held its own. Fois gras with caramelized onions. It definitely started to shine. She had the seared pork chop with polenta, and I had the duck trio which consisted of duck breast and homemade duck sausage. Not only the wine hold its own and definitely made the night more memorable. You can never separate the food from the wine. — 2 months ago
Never mad about opening Gonon. Delicious as always. Will be really incredible years down the line. — 7 months ago
Calm and rounded. Intense lemon fruit with puckering acidity at the edges. Plush and long — 2 months ago
