Château Tour Saint Paul

Château Tour Saint-Christophe

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

Ming L
9.4

The nose opens with waves of ripe black cherry, cassis, plum liqueur, and dark chocolate Beneath the opulence lies impressive complexity with hints of espresso, violets, and peppery spice emerge gradually with air. The palate is dense and supple, showing warmth and generosity. Plenty of nuance beneath the lavish fruit.

Possibly the best value for a St-Emilion GCC. Will need to seek out more.

Sounds awesome! I’ve been wanting to explore more Right Bank. Sounds like a good one at a reasonable price.

Les Pitangerets Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Chardonnay 2019

Great,mineral-driven wine. Citrus zest on the nose. Focused and with great tension on the palate. Paul Pillot makes fantastic white Burgundy. A pleasure to enjoy at home with striped bass, clams and chorizo. — a month ago

Saint Ferréol Bandol Mourvedre 2020

2020 vintage. This is the winery’s “reserve.” Discounted from $52 a btl down to $39 a btl. Great Mouvèdre nose. Medium/medium heavy body. Both plushy and earth-toned. Great Bandol effort. 3.11.26. — 2 months ago

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

Maybe the bottle had been opened for the just the perfect amount of time, but this was one of my favorite glasses of wine by the glass I’ve had in a restaurant—I had them bring the bottle back for a picture. Cassis, oak, pepper, licorice combined perfectly to create a flavor that I can only describe as exactly my preferred taste in wine. Excited to try more Haut Medoc blends in the future! — 3 months ago
