Conservatòri, 100% Mauzac Blanc. My first encounter with this heirloom varietal. Dry to slightly off dry, rounded mouthfeel. White floral, lime, underripe lemon and underripe orchard fruit flavors. Mineral finish. Refreshing and different. Medium body, acid, alcohol. Vanilla-like aftertaste. Some lactic character in the finish emerges after 30 minutes. Waxy, stone, fruit, white peach, crumbly limestone mineral water without the chalkiness. Un ripe stone fruit and lychee fruit tang. Very delicious, wish I would’ve had it a tad bit colder. — 3 months ago
