Light, fragrant, slightly berry — 8 years ago
Sufficiently mature so as not make enemies with any palate (or bffs). Drink it if you got it now. Not much fruit left in the tank. What's left is dark. Deep purple in the glass. Mellow and soft now. Finish on the short side. Still, an enjoyable find. — 9 years ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, nutty and flinty scents, small harvest, aged in 10% new French oak. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and orange citrus, cinnamon notes, well balanced with acidity. Medium+ finish ending with nutty toasty spice, mineral, biscuit and citrus notes. Great now, will still age for next 5 years. — 3 months ago
Well structured and balanced wine; great density and silky tannins. Blackberry, black cherry, cedar and clove meet on the palette. Great find! — 5 years ago
Solid, fruit forward white at an accessible price point — 6 years ago
Deep dark garnet color. Nice dark cherry round fruit and depth here. Enough complexity with wood and earth. What a nice finish with firm long tannins that melt into a clean finish. Best merlot dominant wine I’ve had in a while. Had it with a NY strip at Capital Grille. — 7 years ago
Blend of 95% Grenache and 5% Syrah, notes of pink grapefruit, fresh raspberry and a bit of earth and spice — 8 years ago
This was definitely the most expensive bottle I’ve bought at least in a while, and certainly for myself. Someone had bought most of the available stock, and I can see why. While unprepossessing flavorwise for the most part, it is noteworthy for being dark and strong without being too bright or heavy. It’s very nicely balanced, its fruit note an almost apple-like aged cherry that might come from the Old Fashioneds of any bartender in any hipster neighborhood.l worth its salt. — 9 years ago

Just love this wine, great value, can’t get enough! Belle Pente (bell-pont') means "beautiful slope" - for their 70 acre hillside vineyard & winery site in Willamette Valley. Bright Ruby red with aromas of red fruits, herb spices and hints of blossom notes. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors, slight sweet undertones, herb notes and smooth tannins. Well balanced on a long finish ending with mineral herb notes. Nice!! Great value. — 6 years ago
Medium bodied and a bit tannic, not very fruit-forward. Better after some time open. — 7 years ago

Perhaps the best box 📦 Wine I’ve ever had. — 9 years ago

My dad bought and left this in my apartment. Braved opening it for a steak night, as I am weary to open reds when it is just me drinking because I don’t want to waste any. Safe to say this did not get wasted. I was unfamiliar with Bandols, and this made me a fan. It was everything I love in a red. It was a darker, more structured and intense wine. Dark fruit, but not fruit forward as it had some herbal and earthy notes. Is it gross to say it was almost meaty? Tannins were present but not overbearing. I was raised on big wines and this checked that box. This was perfect with steaks and just great with food overall. Thanks France. — 2 months ago
