1 person found it helpfulMar 10th, 2018Date drank: November 2019
Year: 2014
Producer: Chateau le Pey
Grape(s): likely cot, merlot, cab sav
Region: Medoc Bordeaux
Purchased from: Garagiste
Distributor/Importer: Fruit of the Vines
Natty: not sure
Notes: taste like an aged bordeaux. Little fruit if any, earthy, dusty, tannins have been completely smoothed over. Would drink with duck.

so so, didn’t love this one but at 19 bucks wasn’t expecting much either.

Apr 18th, 2020Nice and dry, fairly astringent with moderate fruit balance. Very much a French style wine, but not as lacking in fruit as some. Also a bit smokey
