2022 vintage. The "Pierre-Marie & Marie Luneau" label covers a series of wines from grapes by partner growers, whereas the estate wines come under the Luneau-Papin label. This organic Muscadet, from vines planted in 1950 and 1987 on granite soils, was harvested by the Luneau-Papin team and vinified in their cellars. Bright, crisp white fruit, fresh and seductive with the typical Muscadet saltiness. Terrific value for less than 10 euros. Abv. 13%. — a year ago
Really like this muscadet. Totally quaffable. All the acidity and minerality I want in an every day white. — 3 years ago
Well-aged Bordeaux superieur that punched above its weight given the age, excellent with ribs. — 2 months ago
Really nice in nose, Great flavour — a year ago
Nice Muscadet but a little too much alcohol in the finish. The attack had some nice white fruit flavors. — 2 years ago

A few years ago before a short trip to Nantes, @Peter van den Besselaar pointed me in the direction of this producer of Muscadet. “Put it in your cellar and forget about it!” he said. I bought 6 bottles of each of the single “vineyards” varieties (they are called different there) and the only thing is….. it should have been 12 or 18 or….. what a fantastic wines they produce, mineral, acid, full bodied. And the PQR is outstanding. They go (as Muscadet should) with fruits de mer, with steamed mussels or simply alone! — a day ago
