I much prefer the basic Casa Silva #Carmenere over this one. This is deep in color and ripe on the nose and palate, but it has gone too far into wanting to be super silky and super ripe. It has lost the texture and the terroir for me. I also don’t like the milky, creamy diacetyl/lactic finish. Good but not great. #chile #colchagua #colchaguavalley #cordillera — 15 days ago
Cherry, raspberry, mushrooms, forest floor and baking spices on the palette. Excellent Pinot for the value. — 19 days ago
What a terrific white Rioja this is! Bottled by Morrisons and produced by Baron de Ley, though I strongly suspect this is the ‘Tres Viñas’ Reserva that they themselves bottle.
Aromas of nectarine, honey, caramel and vanilla. There is an element of petrichor / wet gravel on the palate that adds a refreshing quality. Medium acidity. Very full bodied, but not rich - has a strong minerality. Incredibly well balanced and long. — 19 days ago
Very well balanced mineral notes and acidity, almost Sav Blanc fruity smell and test. Great for its price. — 4 days ago

RSV has just under 200 acres of vineyards in 5 Carneros locations & a winery in the Stags Leap District. The wines are 100% organic. Ruby with delightful berry, cherry & spice aromas that carries through to palate with strawberry & cherry and complex spice, citrus and a touch of oak with fine soft tannins. Lively acidity gives the wine good balance, carries through the finish with an earthy creamy characteristic ending with notes of vanilla spice. Nice! — a month ago
