Medium body and tannins with blackberry and dark cherry flavors. — a month ago
I am enjoying this wine tonight in celebration of the life of an Canadian wine giant Harry McWatters who passed earlier this week. Harry possibly more than anyone else put the Okanagan wines on the map. Sumac Ridge is his first winery and label. Harry understood the market and brought us enjoyable wines targeted to various levels of sophistication and quality. He lobbied to get us the VQA designation, wine sales on Sunday and the use of broader distribution. Often called the God Father of the Okanagan wine industry, one that loved life and great wines. I say that he is a 10 that will be missed. Cheers and thanks to you Harry 🍷 — 4 months ago
I freaking love this wine. Had a tasting at an event with their sales team and was hesitantly sold. Finally opening a bottle a few months later I felt instantly rewarded for the value of this Beckstoffer fruit. Velvet tannins. Medium plus finish. Silky bouquet. — 7 months ago
We bought 2 bottles from Total Wine, based on a recommendation from one of the sales guys in the store. We served it to Max, Ellen & Matthew, at Max's & Ben's birthday party at home and they all looked it a lot.

TERRIFIC, FABULOUS, GREAT VALUE! When people come in and ask if we have any sales, the answer is always the same - No, but we have some great values. This has all the goods without the hefty price tag. — 6 months ago
The nose a little shy. Muted fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers.
The body is medium with incredible mouthfeel. It round, rich and a touch waxy. Fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers. The acidity is round and perfect. The rich, lush, elegant, well balanced finish is fantastic.

This was exceptional, perfect wine with an amazing retirement dinner!!!! Had on 14 June 2019 — 5 months ago
This is a 2012 Martial Zin. Very good! Surprising so. It was part of a wine club offering, so I didn't have high expectations. Marital is a small case winner we discovered from a sales rep from Chateau Montelena. I would buy on its own regardless of my wine club. Usually a Cab and Pinot guy. — 6 months ago
This wine comes from their young vines according to Sophia Hawkins who does their sales & marketing. She also mentioned this vineyards’s soil structure is also the oldest recorded on the planet. Please note, “Recorded”.
The nose shows, freshness, opulence & has sex appeal. Fruits are; ripe, lush, slightly candied and quite floral. Mixed red & dark berries. Blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, dark cherries and ripe juice strawberries. Red fruit liqueur & cola, vanilla, sweet, medium intensity, dark spice, tobacco with ash, dark, rich soils, soft alluvial soil with bright, red, dark, blue & violet florals.
The body is round, full lush and elegant. The firm, meaty, dark, tarry, chewy tannins. For vines so young, the fruit is amazingly ripe & delicious. The florals are straight up beautiful. Blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, dark cherries and ripe juice strawberries. Red fruit liqueur & cola, vanilla, sweet, medium intensity, dark spice, herbaceous notes, tobacco with ash, dark, rich soils, soft alluvial soil, dark crushed rocks, dark penetrating minerals with bright, red, dark, blue & violet florals. The acidity is near perfect. The long finish starts; ripe, juicy and on the long set brings the dry stone minerals. While this drinks beautifully now, wait for even better things in five years. 92 now with a chance of a couple more points.
I really enjoyed their wines quite a lot. Both the noses and palates.
