Isn’t Lavinia a great wine shop Cec. It’s one of the best in Paris and that’s saying something. Their array of wines to taste by the glass is extensive.

Yes Lavinia was great indeed
It was a bit lucky how i got there
I was around the Arc de Triomphe(with my whole family, kids included)and had a feeling that this Lavinia wine shop was close by, so i looked it up and so it was.
Though i was there perhaps nearly 20 years ago and had a memory of a modern, shiny and honestly a slightly cold shop that had an impressive selection of wine. But instead yesterday i found a very cosy shop with extremely friendly people working there. They had moved some years ago from the area near the Magdalene to where they are now
Unfortunately i did not get the chance to stop and drink, which was my wife's first thought when we left.
Were u there before or after they moved?
Given the fact they still have an extensive and amazing choice and i too would recommend anyone to stop there

When I visited Lavinia about 10 years ago + it wasn’t near the Arc. Must’ve been the previous site.

Elegant Fleurie with ripe red and black fruits, red flowers and a strong mineral note from the pink granite soils in Fleurie. Well balanced acidity makes this wine fresh and great to pair with food . Really enjoyed this with duck confit cassoulet with friends tonight. — 5 years ago

Visiting Paris i fell into this marvellous wine shop called Lavinia
Got recommended a few wines and this is my first
Lovely all the way
I like the fact that the Beaujolais area gifts us with this gems full of fun, not cerebral, but rather extremely enjoyable
It had a good length
Price was more than reasonable
Very happy with this and the good company helps always too — a year ago
