Really nice CdP coasting in its prime. Good vibrant garnet color and an enticing savory mature fruited earthy nose that opened in half hour. Lively texture and palate, good long finish. — 3 years ago
Good blend. A little sweet initially but balanced out after it breathed a little. Overall nice wine but enjoyed even more at the Joseph Phelps winery. Great ambience and even better friends. — 2 months ago
Talk about the perfect wine for the meal. We did local heirloom tomatoes, Barata cheese, and it held its own. Fois gras with caramelized onions. It definitely started to shine. She had the seared pork chop with polenta, and I had the duck trio which consisted of duck breast and homemade duck sausage. Not only the wine hold its own and definitely made the night more memorable. You can never separate the food from the wine. — 3 months ago

Hump day wine and yes it goes over the hump and sum. Color is still ruby. The nose is full of ripe red berries and roses. On the palate the wine is dry with notes of raspberry and pomegranate with a full body, high acidity, medium alcohol, good tannins, and a short finish. This was a closeout wine, so for under ten bucks a pop, I’m singing. Cheers. — a month ago
