Hump day wine and yes it goes over the hump and sum. Color is still ruby. The nose is full of ripe red berries and roses. On the palate the wine is dry with notes of raspberry and pomegranate with a full body, high acidity, medium alcohol, good tannins, and a short finish. This was a closeout wine, so for under ten bucks a pop, I’m singing. Cheers. — 3 months ago

Drinking really lovely right now. Merlot doesn’t get enough love from pop wine media. And so so clean - how does 2010 Bordeaux drinking in 2024 not have a trace of Brett? Lovely. — 13 days ago

Good blend. A little sweet initially but balanced out after it breathed a little. Overall nice wine but enjoyed even more at the Joseph Phelps winery. Great ambience and even better friends. — 4 months ago
Drank at Camp with papa’s smoked venison haunch. Balances good dark fruit and earthiness. Good pairing with the food. Also good after. — 17 days ago

Talk about the perfect wine for the meal. We did local heirloom tomatoes, Barata cheese, and it held its own. Fois gras with caramelized onions. It definitely started to shine. She had the seared pork chop with polenta, and I had the duck trio which consisted of duck breast and homemade duck sausage. Not only the wine hold its own and definitely made the night more memorable. You can never separate the food from the wine. — 4 months ago

I can’t get over this wine! The first word that comes to mind is luscious!! Ripe peaches and pear, smoke, pineapple, chamomile, tree bark and limestone. I need a case and now I can’t find it - should’ve bought more!!! — 8 days ago
