Château Andron De Lescours

Château Andron Blanquet

St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

2016 vintage. At the time under the reign of the Audoy family, and recently sold, together with their other estate Cos Labory, to neighbour Cos d'Estournel. A good, old-fashioned Saint-Estèphe with rather rustic tannins that offers decent value for the appellation at 15,50 euro, even if I believe that they could have done a better job with this terroir in a great vintage. — 2 months ago

Château de Lescours

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Primarily Merlot (includes 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) Red Bordeaux Blend. Much better than the 2015 Vintage. Ripe black fruit and plum aromas and flavors. Hints of balsamic vinegar with just a touch of barnyard funk. Full bodied, rich and complex. The tannins, however, are incredibly soft. Great QPR for a Grand Cru Bordeaux Blend. Revisited in October 2022. Improving with age. — 5 years ago

Château Andron Blanquet

Cru Bourgeois St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

I had the 2014 wine on February 2020 and it perfect balanced in taste. It drinks very light and still has it own character. One of my favorites. — 6 years ago
