Cellier Du Rhône

Domaine Jean-Louis Chave

L'Hermitage Syrah 1999

Gorgeous nose. So complex and lush but a strong undercurrent of dried herb, bloodiness, tang, dark fruit. Soulful and savory. Fascinating and long. Great — 3 days ago

Domaine du Pegau

Cuvée Réservé Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2019

Feel that this has closed down a lot since our last try. A lot less lively and hard to put your finger on. Still gorgeous and silky...will always remain one of my most favourite wines! Paired with pasta putanesca. — 7 days ago

Cornas Reynard (R) Syrah 2013

Really lovely and punchy. Vivid fruit, loads of savory tangy fruit. Iron and iodine and a hint of strawberry sweetness. Excellent — 9 days ago

Château de Beaucastel

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend 1995

[En Magnum] This is absolutely a beautiful, 30-year-old, Beaucastel Rouge in large format, mostly clean (just a trace of Brett), red fruits, still some structure, but not tannic, balanced, complex layers of flavors, long finish, really a top-notch Beaucastel with old school ABV (13.5%)!, lovely!!! — 17 hours ago

E. Guigal

La Mouline Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2006

Always the most elegant and perfumed and even Burgundian of the La La’s, 06 is gorgeous tonight, open and giving with the oak seamlessly absorbed, wafting layers of cassis, bacon fat, camphor and exotic spices with silky palate and tremendous length. Still young but quite accessible now! — 9 days ago

11/2025. Full of flavor with a nice finish. Sits well on the palate. Enjoyed with Duck Confit Carbonara at Divino Rosso. — 3 days ago

Château Rayas

Réservé Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache Blend 2010

Tasting with a big fan of Rayas. Better than the 2010 and both bottles were so different than other CDP. This one more Burgundy, the 2010 closer to Bordeaux. Both very elegant. — 14 days ago
