@Alan Weinberg - I got introduced to him through his St Aubin bottlings. Reminds me a ton of Lamy’s stuff. These reds are just fantastic though. They seem to be a second act to their whites, but really deliver. Chassagne Rouge rarely disappoint me.

Castor is not impressed but I am! Luckily I pick the wines. Lovely nose of licorice, spice, deep back fruits, anise, red licorice, terrific lift to the aromas. Deep, rich and ripe with amazing purity and freshness. Lovely cut to the tannins. Good length. Black fruits, spice and licorice. Lovely. — 5 years ago
