Really excellent. Intense yet smooth, the age shows but only in a refined way. Finish goes on forever. Like really good old Bordeaux. — 10 years ago
Surprisingly delicious, well balance with a silky texture and long finish on the palette. Great value, — 7 months ago

2015 vintage fermented in all new French oak- amazing lack of oak flavor but great texture and volume from oak- the oak is not overt and the acidity is bright and delightful -lively and fun — 10 years ago
Last had a bit under 3 years ago. Could use a ton more time. Probably would have called southern Rhone blind. Quite generous with lots of red fruit. Excellent acid and a bit of refinement on the finish give some sense that this is from somewhere else - in this case, higher altitude wines in the Douro valley that the producer uses in the best years for a reserva. Nice wine. — 7 months ago
Had it with friends. Dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, spices and cherries. Very powerful and also elegant, this is great now but has lots of potential, say 5 to 7 years. We liked it a great deal and are looking to buy. — 3 years ago
One of my favorite reds from Douro in north Portugal. Deep red violet color with beautiful tears on the glass. Forest berries and deep caramel aromas with an excellent dry finish. Pairs with red meats, game and very strong cheeses. — 9 years ago
