Picked up 8 cases. At 5.85 CAD a great bargain for a nice rose. A lovely Grenache for the Summer, but full flavoured enough to enjoy year round. A great second bottle after a nice Chardonnay with Thanksgiving turkey. — 5 years ago

Only red we had paired w Basque tapas & what a pairing. It’s a blend from Outside Madrid- syrah, garnacha, carinena & morenillo , it all hangs together in a loose, fresh style. Not too far removed from a Cru Beaujo. Dark red fruits, surprisingly long & a bit of grip. A ‘ villages level’ from the Spanish version of the Gang of Four. An easy wine easy to like. — 3 years ago

Familia Nin-OrtiZ, Nit de Nin - Más d’en Caçador 2009 Porrera, Priorat, Catalunya
Intense, ripe and difined nose with very ripe blackberries fruit, black cherries, floral notes, aromatic herbs from the Porrera hills, spices, nice subtile cedar wood nuances, minerality, medium to full bodied palate, with the same fruit flavors as found in the nose, loads of fine ripe integrated tannins, great acidity that gives freshness on this beautifull wine, long lovely aftertaste ! 97 DSP — 2 months ago
Torres family has been related to wine since 17th century when their ancestors first planted vines in the Penedès, a winegrowing region dating to the days of the Phoenicians. Deep Ruby with aromas of jammy fruit, pepper and toasty cedar. On the palate this blend of Cariñena, Garnacha and Syrah shows black currant, jammy blackberry and pepper, vivid acidity with fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, oak and earthy character.
