Wow, this comes out swinging. Really big blackberry and cassis, with cedar and licorice. Dark and luxurious. The Cab Franc pokes through with some green. This goes down easy. Inexpensive, too.

2007. Saw this on the wine list and had to look it up. Sounded great, so tried a couple of 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon tonight with some rich sauced lamb dishes. The Red Cap was our favorite with food and my favorite overall. — 5 months ago

Another solid vintage of this consistently good FLX dry Riesling. Aromas fresh herbs and yellow apple. Hints of white flowers as it opens up. Flavors of golden delicious apple, Asian pear, lemon/lime, almonds and orange zest. Crisp acidity, smooth texture and bone dry. Solid value. Thanks for saving me a glass, Chris B! — 9 months ago
